1587 FC 2-in-1 Insulation Multimeter

The Fluke 1587 FC Insulation Multimeter puts a digital insulation tester and a true-RMS digital multimeter in one handheld tool for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on motors, generators, cables and switchgear. It is Fluke Connect enabled, so insulation test results can be read and shared wirelessly from a smartphone at a safe distance from the equipment.

Insulation testing: test voltages of 50 V, 100 V, 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V; measurement range 0.01 MΩ to 2.0 GΩ; PI/DAR timed ratio tests with TrendIt graphs; temperature compensation and memory storage through the Fluke Connect Measurements app. Live-circuit detection blocks the test when more than 30 V is present, and capacitive voltage is auto-discharged after the test.

Multimeter functions: AC/DC voltage to 1000 V, DC millivolts, AC/DC milliamps, resistance 0.1 Ω to 50 MΩ, continuity, frequency, capacitance, diode test, temperature with the included K-type thermocouple, min/max, and a VFD low-pass filter for accurate readings on motor drives. CAT III 1000 V / CAT IV 600 V. Includes remote probe, test leads, alligator clips, K-type thermocouple and hard case; three-year warranty.
