Privacy Policy

When you submit a quote request, use our contact form, or correspond with us by phone or email, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes your name, company, email address, phone number, the products or services you are asking about, and any notes you include. Quote and contact submissions are stored in our business systems and delivered to our sales desk by email so a real person can respond.

Like most websites, our servers keep standard logs that include IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate: pages visited, approximate location, and device type. Analytics relies on cookies, described below. We also record the search terms visitors type into our catalog search. We review those terms to improve search quality and product coverage, not to identify individuals.

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security screening, and our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions come from people rather than automated scripts. We use an error-monitoring service that receives technical reports when something on the site breaks. These reports describe the error and the request that triggered it.

We use the information above to:

• respond to your quote requests, questions, and service inquiries;
• provide sales, rental, calibration, and repair services you request;
• maintain business records of quotes and transactions;
• improve the site, our catalog data, and our search;
• protect the site and our customers from abuse, spam, and fraud; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

We share information only with vendors that process it on our behalf to run the business: Google (site analytics), Cloudflare (content delivery, security, and form verification), Microsoft 365 (our business email, including delivery of your quote and contact submissions to our sales desk), an error-monitoring provider, an encrypted offsite backup provider, and a fallback form-delivery service used only if our primary email path is unavailable. Each receives only what it needs for its function.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visits; these are used for measurement, not advertising. Your browser's quote cart is kept in local storage on your own device and is not sent to us until you submit a quote request. Cloudflare may set cookies needed for security screening. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works with analytics cookies disabled, and Google also offers a browser opt-out for Analytics.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Like most sites, we do not currently respond to them, but our practices are the same for all visitors and are described in full on this page.

Quote requests, correspondence, and transaction records are business records: we keep them as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal, accounting, and warranty obligations. Analytics data is retained per the settings of our analytics provider.

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion of information we are not legally required to keep. California residents may have additional rights under California law; we honor verified requests regardless of which statute they cite.

The site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to customer information is limited to staff who need it, and our systems are backed up to encrypted offsite storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.

Our site and services are intended for businesses and adult purchasers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently on this page.
