PD Scan Set 4 is the top configuration, adding an outdoor parabolic receiver for locating corona and surface discharge at a distance. The PD Scan is Megger's handheld partial discharge scanner for medium and high voltage switchgear. It detects and logs partial discharge activity using internal TEV and airborne acoustic sensors, and accepts external TEV, HFCT, acoustic, and contact-probe sensors, helping maintenance teams find insulation defects before they lead to failure.
Included in the set: PD Scan main unit, parabolic receiver, flexible acoustic sensor, acoustic contact probe, HFCT cable sensor, external TEV sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, function tester, charger with USB cable, Bluetooth headphone, UNI transport case, and a USB stick with the operating manual and reporting software.
