The Megger TC256P pocket-sized thermal camera is a non-contact inspection tool for diagnosing problems and finding hidden deficiencies in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment. It pairs a 256 x 192 pixel infrared detector with a 5 MP visible-light camera and a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen, with InfraRed, Visible Light, Multi-Image Fusion, and Picture-in-Picture modes revealing temperature detail.

The measurement range spans -20°C to 550°C with automatic range switching and accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%, whichever is greater. Two spot and three area measurements, a full-screen temperature alarm, laser ranging, and intelligent area calculation of rectangular objects speed up survey work, with customizable F1 and F2 function buttons for fast access.

Built-in Wi-Fi shares images and real-time video with the Thermography mobile app so reports reach colleagues and customers quickly, and the ThermoLink PC application handles analysis. Photos store to 16 GB of internal memory as JPG files with embedded temperature data, and cloud services are available.

The camera runs 4 hours per charge, fast-charges over USB-C to 90% in 2.5 hours, and carries an IP54 rating with a 1-meter drop test at 296 g and 138 x 89 x 34 mm. Each camera ships with a rigid protective case, wrist strap, power adapter with plug adaptors, USB cable, quick start guide, and calibration certificate.
