The Megger MSL10 is a simple-to-use instrument designed to help locate the edges of wooden studs, metal joists or live AC cables through drywall or other common building materials. With clear LED and audible indication, the center of studs or joists can be located by scanning from either side to locate each edge. With three depth ranges available, the sensitivity can be adjusted to ensure accurate indication. The MSL10 will also indicate the presence of live AC cables.

The unit is supplied with a protective carry pouch that helps protect the wall contact pads and avoid marking or damaging any finished surface being scanned.
