The BP5 is the alkaline battery holder supplied with the PLS 3, 5, 6 and 180 series lasers. A spare pack loaded with fresh AA cells means a swap on the job instead of a stop; it also lets a crew that runs the RBP5 rechargeable pack keep alkalines as a backup.
