Open-path infrared combustible-hydrocarbon-gas detector for fence-line and large-area monitoring. Continuous monitoring across paths up to 660 ft (200 m). Dual-wavelength IR analysis discriminates real combustible gas from steam, dust, fog, snow, and rain. Heated optics survive icing and condensation. SIL 2 per IEC 61508. HART output. Best where point-detector spacing would be impractical (open process areas, perimeter monitoring, LNG terminals, refineries).
