MS Magnetic Sensor (Slurry)
SKU: MS-MAG
Specialty mag-flow sensor purpose-built for slurry service. Heavy-duty electrode mounting + high-resistance liner combinations (Polyurethane, Neoprene, Linatex) deliver the wear life that pulp/paper, mining, mineral processing, and dredging require. Pairs with the Rosemount 8782 Slurry Transmitter for complete signal-noise rejection. Full flanged ANSI / DIN coverage from 1 in to 48 in. The slurry-industry workhorse alternative to the 8705/8711 standard sensors.

8705 Flanged Magnetic Flow Meter Sensor
Flanged-body magnetic flow meter sensor — workhorse Rosemount mag flow primary element. All-welded sensor body for long-life pressure containment. Wide line-size range (½ to 36 inches) and full flange-rating coverage (ANSI 150# / 300# / 600#, EN equivalents). Lining options for almost any process: PTFE for chemicals, ETFE for high-temperature, Polyurethane for abrasive slurries, Neoprene for water/wastewater, Linatex for severe abrasion. Electrode materials from 316 SST workhorse to Hastelloy / Tantalum / Platinum / Titanium for corrosion-critical service. Pairs with the Rosemount 8712EM transmitter for the standard mag-flow installation.

8711 Wafer Magnetic Flow Meter Sensor
Wafer-body magnetic flow meter sensor — same all-welded mag-flow architecture as the Rosemount 8705 but in a compact wafer body. Sandwiches between the customer's existing flanges (no integral flanges on the meter), reducing weight and cost vs flanged 8705. Best for line sizes ½ to 8 inches. Same liner / electrode / pairing options as 8705. Pairs with the Rosemount 8712EM transmitter.

8712EM Magnetic Flow Meter Transmitter
Mag-flow transmitter electronics — pairs with any Rosemount 8705 / 8711 / 8750W mag-flow sensor. Intuitive Local Operator Interface (LOI) with dedicated keys for instant access to common parameters. HART 4-20 mA output (workhorse), FOUNDATION Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA also available. Wall, pipe, or panel mount. Wide hazardous-area cert matrix (FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx — both IS and XP variants). 90-250 VAC or 12-42 VDC supply. Smart Meter Verification (SMV) diagnostic confirms sensor health without removing from service.

8732E Magnetic Flowmeter Transmitter
Wall- or pipe-mount transmitter for the 8705/8711 magnetic flowmeter sensors. Provides 4-20 mA HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, or pulse output. Backlit LCD with local operator interface. Replaces sensor-integral transmitters when the meter must be installed away from the process for maintenance access.
