The Additel ADT295 is a handheld field device communicator for configuring, calibrating, diagnosing and managing HART, Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus PA instruments such as transmitters and positioners. It works online with installed devices and offline in the shop, and its built-in 24 V loop supply means no external power supply or loop resistor is needed.
This model communicates with HART devices. Additel notes that HART-only units cannot be upgraded to Foundation Fieldbus or Profibus PA later because of internal hardware differences, so choose the ADT295-FF or ADT295-FF-PA if you will need those protocols.
