The Amprobe TL1500 test-lead set contains two silicone-insulated lead wires, two standard probe tips, two alligator clips, and two spade lugs for connecting a compatible electrical test meter to a device. The 48 in lead wires use silicone insulation that protects hands from shock and heat, resists melting in hot environments and stiffening in cold ones, and stays more flexible than PVC.

The probe tips press against the conductor during testing; the 3.15 in alligator clips have a 0.30 in jaw and teeth that grip for a secure, hands-free connection; and the spade lugs clamp under compression nuts or screws. The leads fit testers with universal 4 mm jacks.
