GX-6100 for LEL / O2 / H2S / CO / VOCS (0 - 4,000 PPM PID) / TC % Vol. with Li-Ion

The RKI GX-6100 is the smallest six-gas sample-draw detector in RKI's line and the successor to the GX-6000. It monitors the four standard confined-space gases (combustibles, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide) and adds two interchangeable smart-sensor slots that auto-recognize PID, PPM, infrared, or super-toxic sensors, so one instrument covers confined-space entry, leak detection, hazmat response, remediation sites, landfill and perimeter monitoring, arson investigation, and wing-tank entry.

PID options include 10.6 eV (two ranges), 10.0 eV, and 11.7 eV lamps with dual-PID support, a library of more than 600 VOCs, a user-defined VOC list, and a benzene-specific version. A TE sensor measures combustibles in percent volume while new ppm MOS sensors add methane and isobutane leak-check capability, so the GX-6100 reads combustibles in both ppm and percent volume in the same monitor. An LEL sensor protection mode and a PPM Leak Check mode round out the detection toolkit.

Sampling is by internal pump at 0.45 LPM with a 100-foot draw range. Alarms include man-down, panic, and adjustable low and high gas alarms at 95 dB at one foot, with Bluetooth sharing of emergency alerts. The large auto-rotating LCD carries a peak-bar display and an LED light, and the IP-67 housing measures 2.6 by 7.9 by 2.2 inches at 17.6 ounces with the lithium-ion pack. Runtime is up to 28 hours on the Li-ion pack (six-hour recharge) or 8 hours on the interchangeable alkaline pack; sensors, batteries, filters, and pump are all field-replaceable. Operating range is -20 to +50 C at 0 to 95 percent RH non-condensing. Intrinsically safe: ATEX, IECEx, and cCSAus, explosion class Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, CE marked.
