Snap-on Plus Module that extends the AMS Trex / Trex 2 Device Communicator with two unique field-communication powers: (1) ability to power loop segments — the Trex provides 24 VDC to wake up an unpowered or stranded transmitter for configuration, and (2) a built-in 4-20 mA ammeter — measure live loop current directly from the Trex without breaking the loop or pulling out a separate multimeter.
